The Opportunity Debate: Upward Mobility and The American Dream, A Heartland Monitor Poll Briefing at the Presidential Debate
Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM (MDT)
Just hours before the first presidential debate, a panel of campaign officials, national pollsters, party strategists and leading economists will explore how economic issues will impact this November’s presidential race.
Drawing on the top findings and highlights from the Allstate – National Journal Heartland Monitor Poll, this event will provide a compelling profile of the most significant voting bloc in America today: the middle class. In a series of panel discussions and keynote speeches, experts will offer insight on the top economic concerns for Americans; including retirement, debt, housing and the manufacturing sector. Using polling data, these experts will also explore middle class perspectives on economic security, social mobility and outlooks on the future.
Join us in Denver, Colorado, for a briefing underwritten by Allstate, as we examine these major economic policy issues that are likely to frame the 2012 presidential election.
